At the least eight hearth engines battled the following blaze in Higher Basildon, Berkshire.

A spokesperson informed MailOnline: “It was a suspected explosion which triggered a fireplace at a residential property in Aldworth Highway, Higher Basildon which we had been referred to as to at 10.42pm.
